Can you make the shot when it matters most? In a combat situation, it’s unlikely that any of us are going to wake up, have a chance to sip our coffee and yawn a bit, THEN jump into combat. What’s more realistic is periods of combat broken up by brief periods of rest. And that’s exactly what makes this drill so effective. It allows you to practice and test your speed, accuracy, grip, scan and reload elements.
If you want to really challenge yourself, run this drill while timing yourself. Go through one of your tried and true drills, then run this one again to gauge your abilities over time. Set a personal goal or challenge a buddy to a time and/or accuracy match.
