Hunting Season Begins But Where's the Ammo?

(TacticalNews.com) – Hunting season is here again, but there seems to be a shortfall of ammunition in many gun stores across the US. It looks like it’s going to be a busy hunting season this year, or will it? Stores are struggling to keep up with the demand of the consumer, so that only time will tell.

There has been a massive increase in hunting license applications, according to several states. Perhaps more people see the need to hunt for their food after certain food supplies like fresh meats decreased since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic. Or, maybe people just want to get out and enjoy the outdoors after having to cancel their usual summer plans due to the pandemic.

Whatever the case may be, one thing is sure; it’s getting hard to find ammo in some areas. With a sharp increase in hunting, there will be an even higher demand for ammunition. However, that’s not the main reason for the shortage, according to store owners.

Some store owners have stated that they’re still feeling the spike’s impact on firearm and ammunition sales that occurred at the beginning of the pandemic. Additionally, many of them never fully recovered from that shortfall and are now struggling to meet new demands.

Just because there is a shortage of ammunition doesn’t mean you can’t find it. It just means it may be hard to find the ammo you need. The good news is you can still find ammo. You just have to know where to look.
