(TacticalNews.com) – The United States recently discovered that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has been conducting experimental gene editing to create “super soldiers.” The US, of course, is not one to be outdone. However, its research is taking a different and more humane direction.

The US military isn’t looking to alter the DNA of its soldiers. Instead, it wants to supply them with brain implants. These implants will allow soldiers to read the minds of each other. Although this might be a difficult concept to believe, US research is moving in that direction.
The US is following a concept called Neuralink. Created by Elon Musk’s company, the proposed technology provides the means for soldiers to instantly communicate with each other over long distances using a neural scanning implant and smartphone.
Is this the beginning of a new age of warfare? Will they be able to read the minds of enemies as well? No one truly knows. Only time will tell. One thing is certain: the landscape of warfare is changing rapidly.
Perhaps one day, these implants will also allow users to control drones. Check out how drones could play a major in the future of warfare. After all, they’ve made an enormous impact already.
